Srinagar February 19 (KNO) : Dukhtaran-e-Millat on Monday lambasted the Indian Army for murdering a mentally challenged man, Syed Habibullah, a resident of Soibugh village, during the intervening night of Sunday and Monday after claiming that he had entered the area of an occupational Air Force station in Budgam district*. In a statement Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the secretary general of DeM Nahida Nasreen said that even if Habibullah had entered their area, did not they have eyes to check that he was barefooted and without proper winter clothing.

“It is clear from the pictures that he looked mentally challenged. Who else will venture out in the fields barefooted and without winter clothing during the harsh winter days,” she questioned? She said that it makes it evident that Indian army hardly cares whom they are killing.

“These murders make it amply clear that Indian army and the Indian state are the enemies of Kashmir.” Although it has become evident to us a long time back, but these incidents should open the eyes of world powers and they should understand that Indians are butchering Kashmiris and proving that they Indian army etc are surely insane and have lost the mental balance totally. The people of Kashmir should equally understand that these butchers can never be our friends.

“They do not just murder people associated with Hurriyat or any other pro-freedom group, nor do they murder mujahid only, they butcher Kashmiris at will without taking ideologies as a parameter.” Therefore, she said, that people of Kashmir should stand against the Indian state firmly and not support either the Indian army or the pro-India political stooges. “The fight against the illegal occupation should continue till the last Indian army personnel vacates our pious territory.”(KNO)
